Welcome!
Terri’s teaching aims to make every lesson a fun and enjoyable learning experience. Her aim is to make learning the piano rewarding and fulfilling for a lifetime of enjoyment to students of all ages and abilities. Along with learning the elements of music, students will learn how to express themselves through artistic performances of various styles of music. They will also learn that music is a creative art through improvisation and composition. For the younger ages, interactive movement and games are incorporated into the lesson plans to aid in learning rhythm and theory.
Terri is a dedicated and enthusiastic piano teacher with a Bachelor of Music Education with piano and organ, Wheaton College and a Master of Education, Lesley University. Terri has 28 years of experience teaching elementary music and choirs in the Chicagoland area. Terri has been teaching private piano lessons for more than 40 years.
Terri runs her in-home teaching studio in Castle Rock, Colorado.
